1 Scope
This part specifies the types and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packing, transport and storage of heavy thimbles for use with steel wire ropes.
This part is applicable to the heavy thimbles for use with round strand steel wire ropes (hereinafter referred to as "thimbles") specified in GB 8918-2006 and GB/T 20118-2006.
