Introduction of GB/T 6848-1986

本标准规定了电影胶片(包括涂磁胶片)片卷片芯的规格和尺寸，供制作电影胶片片卷片芯使用。本标准等效采用国际标准ISO 1039―1975《电影――电影胶片和涂磁胶片片卷片芯――尺寸》。结合我国国情，本标准取消了ISO 1039―1975中的注1、注3、注4、注5，这些说明性注释与标准的技术内容无关，和我国没什么关系。同时，标准中补充规定了32毫米用的32×75片芯和我国独有的8.75毫米胶片用的片芯。为了保证片芯的强度，避免由于材料中的有害成分或放射性污染对胶片性能产生影响，本标准增加了这方面的规定，列在附录A(补充件)中。
