Aluminium-alloy swaged ferrules for steel wire rope
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of aluminium-alloy swaged ferrules for steel wire rope (hereinafter referred to as ferrules).
This standard is applicable to ferrules for round strand steel wire ropes with a diameter of 6 mm to 65 mm and a nominal tensile strength of not more than 1,870 MPa.
This standard is not applicable to ferrules for single strand and special-shaped strand steel wire ropes.
