本标准规定了高活度钴60密封放射源的结构、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、检验证书和使用说明书、包装、运输和贮存等内容。
本标准适用于放射性活度(以下简称活度)大于10TBq的远距离治疗用钴60γ源、工业辐照用钴60γ源,也适用于γ刀治疗用钴60γ源、探伤用钴60γ源以及其他用途的活度大于10TBq的钴60γ源。
