本标准规定了一种测定乳液聚合型苯乙烯-丁二烯橡胶(SBR)结合苯乙烯含量的方法。本方法是通过测定抽提后试样的折光指数，并依据折光指数和苯乙烯的质量百分数对照表确定结合苯乙烯的量。如果能制得适合于折光指数测定的胶片，本方法也适用于经抽提过的乳液聚合型充油SBR。本方法不适用于溶液聚合型SBR。
