本部分为首次发布。ＧＢ／Ｔ８９１０《手持便携式动力工具　手柄振动测量方法》分为14部分,本部分为ＧＢ／Ｔ８９１０的第５部分。本标准的本部分规定了手持便携式动力工具在建筑工程用路面破碎机和镐手柄振动测量方法。本部分等同采用ISO 8662-8：1992《手持便携式动力工具手柄振动测量方法第5部分：建筑工程用路面破碎机和镐》（英文版），包括其修正案ISO 8662-5/Amd.1:1999(E)。
本部分等同翻译ISO 8662-5：1992(E)。
本部分与ISO 8662-5：1992的技术内容相同，但作了如下编辑性修改：
——删除国际标准的“前言”和“引言”。
——将“ISO 8662的本部分”一词改为“本部分”；
——用小数点“.”代替作为小数点的逗号“，”；
