Specification for carbon fiber reinforced phenolic-NBR materials
1 Scope
1.1 Subject content
This specification specifies the technical requirements, quality assurance requirements and delivery preparation of carbon fiber reinforced phenolic-NBR materials.
1.2 Application scope
This specification is applicable to the production and inspection of carbon fiber reinforced phenolic-NBR materials.
1.3 Classification
Unless otherwise specified, carbon fiber reinforced phenolic-NBR materials are classified into the following three types according to their overall dimensions:
a. Type I-5, rectangular film;
b. Type I-3, rectangular thin film;
c. Type II-5, 90° fan-shaped film.
2 Normative references
GB/T 1040-92 Plastics - Determination of tensile properties
GB 1463-88 Test methods for density and relative density of fiber reinforced plastics
GB 4617-84 Phenolic mouldings - Determination of acetone-soluble matter
GB 6679-86 General rules for sampling of solid chemical products
GJB 323A-96 Test methods for ablation of ablators
3 Requirements
3.1 Main raw materials
3.1.1 Phenolic resin
The resin used is ammonia phenolic resin, with the following indexes:
Solid content: >80%;
Viscosity of falling ball: 30~90 min;
Polymerization rate: 60~180 s;
Free phenol: <18%.
3.1.2 Acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR)
Volatile content is not greater than 1%, ash content is not greater than 1.5%, and the bound acrylonitrile is 36% to 40%.
3.1.3 Carbon fiber
Viscose-based twisted carbon yarn is adopted, with the tensile strength no less than 200 MPa, carbon content no less than 90%, fiber length no less than 500 mm. It has three or four strands with 80±10 twists/m.
