Specification for steering and diving gear of nuclear submarine
1 Scope
1.1 Subject content
This specification specifies the requirements, quality assurance provisions and delivery preparation of steering and diving gear of nuclear submarines.
1.2 Application scope
This specification is applicable to the design, construction and acceptance of steering and diving gear of nuclear submarine (hereinafter referred to as steering gear).
1.3 Classification
Steering gear may be divided into the following types according to the steering mode:
1.3.1 Normal steering gear:
a. Valve-controlled steering gear (steering hydraulic servo system is in the form of valve-controlled hydraulic cylinder);
b. Pump-controlled steering gear (steering hydraulic servo system is in the form of pump-controlled hydraulic cylinder).
1.3.2 Emergency steering gear:
a. Hydraulic emergency steering gear;
b. Electric emergency steering gear.
