1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and measurement methods for VHF and UHF frequency band digital terrestrial television broadcasting exciters as specified in GB 20600-2006. Any equivalent method ensuring the same measurement uncertainty may also be adopted. In case of any dispute, this standard shall prevail.
This standard is applicable to the design, production, use, operation and maintenance of VHF and UHF frequency band digital terrestrial television broadcasting exciters.

3.1 Term and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1.1 Frequency Synthesis
The frequency signal for accuracy and stability equivalent to the reference frequency and obtained through adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing the reference frequency.
3.1.2 Effective Bandwidth
The difference between high-end and low-end frequencies corresponding to 3dB signal center frequency amplitude reduction.
