1 Application Scope



This standard is applicable to piping design of chemical industry including the dimension series of seamless and welded steel pipes. This standard doesn't include the steel pipes used for chemical industry equipments (not piping) such as interchanger tube bundle.

This standard doesn't include series of GB 3091 "Galvanized Welded Steel Pipe for Pressure Service" and GB 3092 "Welded Steel Pipe for Low Pressure Service" as well as series of general design for high pressure pipe.
