This code replaces HGJ 206-1992 Code for construction and acceptance of chemical machine installation engineering (Medium/small piston-type compressor) from the date of implementation.
This code was revised by the compilation team based on extensive investigation and research, practical experience, reference from advanced relevant international standards and extensive solicitation of opinions.
The main technical content of this code includes: general provisions, terms, construction preparations, site assembly compressor installation, integral compressor installation, auxiliary equipment and piping installation, test run of set, handover of technical documents, etc.
Compared with HGJ 206-1992, the main changes of this code are as follows:
1. Clause 2 "Terms", Clause 6 "Auxiliary equipment and piping installation", Annex A "Aligning for middle body" and other contents have been added;
2. Annex A "Installation of compressor sets without shim iron", Annex B "Tightening torque of anchor bolts and reference value of axial tension" and Annex E "Recommended recipe of pickling passivation solution for carbon steel and low alloy steel pipe" of the original standard have been deleted;
3. The names and contents of other clauses are also adjusted, modified or supplemented.

1 General provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated in order to improve the installation of medium and miniature sized piston compressor sets, strengthen the quality control in the compressor installation process, and ensure the quality of installation.
1.0.2 This code applies to the construction and acceptance of on-site assembly or integrated installation of medium and miniature sized piston compressor sets in the chemical and petrochemical industries.
1.0.3 The general technical requirements for installation engineering construction and acceptance of medium and miniature sized piston compressor sets shall comply with the relevant provisions of the current industry standard HG 20203 Code for construction and acceptance of chemical machine installation engineering (General purpose requirement).
1.0.4 Where this code is inconsistent with the requirements of the accompanied technical documents of the compressor sets, the latter shall prevail.
1.0.5 The construction and acceptance of the installation of medium and miniature sized piston compressor sets shall not only comply with this code, but also comply with the relevant current national standards.

3.1 Technical preparation
3.1.1 The set shall have the following technical documents before installation:

2 The quality inspection certificate, which shall include the following contents:
1) Product quality certificates for accompanied pipes, valves, pipe fittings and fasteners;
2) Product quality certificate and manufacturing inspection certificate of pressure vessels;
3) Hydraulic test records of cylinder jacket and packing box;
4) Records of pre-assembly and trial operation of the compressor before leaving the factory.
3 The assembly drawing, process flow chart, auxiliary equipment installation drawing, wearing parts processing drawing and the product instruction manual of the set.
