Pipe conveyor belts of steel cord construction
1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage and transport of pipe conveyor belts of steel cord construction with rubber cover (hereinafter referred to as “belt").
This standard is applicable to pipe conveyor belts of steel cord construction in the working environment with a temperature falling within -20℃~ 40℃.
This standard is not applicable to troughed conveyor belts for conveying materials.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 5756 and the following ones apply.

tube diameter
nominal diameter of the outer circle of a tubular conveyor belt after a tube is formed by both sides
3.2
transverse rigidity
force rebounding outward from the overlap joint at both transverse ends
4 Product classification
4.1 Specification
The specifications of the belt shall be distinguished according to the tube diameter of the belt, the longitudinal tensile strength of the belt and the width of the belt.
4.1.1 Tube diameter of belt
The tube diameter of belt shall be indicated by “Φ" in millimeters (mm), as shown in Table
