本标准规定了锅沪构架所在场地的场地指数计算方法，构架的地震作用计算方法，地震作用效应与其它荷载效应的组合方法及构架的杭震构造措施，使锅炉构架在地震时尽量减少奴坏，避免造成电力系统大而积长时间的停电。
本标准适用于抗震设防烈度为6～9度地区的锅炉构架的杭展设计。抗震设防烈度为10度时，锅沪构架的杭震设计应进行有关专门研究和设防。
