本标准规定了液化天然气用阀门性能试验的术语和定义、试验项目、常温性能试验、低温性能试验、试验方法、试验程序以及泄漏率等要求。
本标准适用于公称压力PN16～PN250、公称尺寸DN15～DN1200 和压力等级Class 150～Class 1500、 公称尺寸NPS1/2～NPS48，工作介质为液化天然气的法兰和焊接连接的闸阀、截止阀、止回阀、球阀和蝶阀。
其它类型的阀门亦可参照使用。
