本标准规定了危险液体储运罐箱用安全截断底阀的术语和定义、结构型式和型号编制、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志与供货要求。
本标准适用于公称压力PN6～PN25，公称尺寸DN80～DN100，介质温度-40℃～200℃的液体石油产品和其他符合GB 6944-2012《危险货物分类和品名编号》标准中第3类危险液体，包括50℃时蒸汽压力不大于110kPa的石油，但不包括液态退敏爆炸品、毒害品和腐蚀品类的储运罐箱上安装的底阀。
