1 Scope
This standard specifies the type, dimension, technical requirements and test rules of the brake disc used for the disk brake (hereinafter referred to as brake disc).
This standard is applicable to all kinds of the single-disc style brake discs.
This standard is not applicable to the multi-disc and wet disc brakes.

3 Type and Dimension
3.1 Type
3.1.1 The type of the brake disc may be divided into Type A brake disc and Type B brake disc according to its structure.
a. The structural feature of the Type A brake disc is brake disc and wheel hub are made as a whole, and shown in Figure 1. The brake disc has entity brake disc (code number is S), straight air brake disc (code number is Z) and curve air brake disc (code number is Q). The code numbers of the three kinds of brake discs are ASP, AZP, and AOP respectively.
b. The structural feature of the Type B brake disc is brake disc and wheel hub may be connected detachably, and shown in Figure 2. The brake disc also has entity brake disc, straight air brake disc and curve air brake disc. The code numbers of the three kinds of brake discs are BSP, BZP and BOP respectively.
The brake disc is not required to entirely correspond with the schematic construction, but shall meet the given dimension.
