本标准规定了母材厚度不大于20mm，材料为铜及铜基合金，焊接方法为气焊、氩弧焊（也可采用电焊、埋弧焊）的熔化焊对接接头的X射线照相方法及焊缝质量的分级。本标准适用于空气分离设备中铜制容器和铜制管道的对接焊缝。其他母材为铜或铜基合金的熔化焊对接接头也可参照使用。本标准不限制使用γ射线进行透照检验，但在照相技术要求上必须符合本标准的规定。
