1. Scope
This standard specifies structural type, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and supply requirements of reduced-port forging steel valves, including gate valve, globe valve, throttle valve and lift check valve.
This standard is applicable to internal threaded and socket welding valves with the nominal pressure of PN 16~PN 250 and nominal dimension of DN 8~DN 65 and flanged and butt welding valves with the nominal pressure of PN 16~PN 250 and nominal dimension of DN 8~DN 100. The applicable media include petroleum and relevant petroleum products, natural gas and steam.
This standard is also applicable to valves whose bonnets are sealed with bellow, nominal pressure and nominal dimension are PN 16~PN 250 and DN 8~DN 50 respectively.
