1 Scope
This part of JB/T 8603 specifies the testing of the geometrical accuracy, digital control setting accuracy and resetting accuracy of the heavy-duty rotary table with general accuracy for the common purpose as well as their corresponding tolerance.
This part is applicable to the common and digital control heavy-duty rotary table with table surface width or diameter 1250mm~5000mm.
2 Normative References
The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this part of JB/T 8603, constitute provisions of this part. For dated reference, subsequent amendments to (excluding correction to), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, the parties whose enter into agreement according to these specifications are encouraged to research whether the latest editions of these labels are applied or not. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document is applicable to this part.
GB/T 17421.1-1998 Test Code for Machine Tools-Part 1: Geometric Accuracy of Machines Operating under No-load or Finishing Conditions (eqv ISO 230-1:1996)
GB/T 17421.2-2000 Test Code for Machine Tools-Part 2: Determination of Accuracy and Repeatability of Positioning Numerically Controlled Axes (eqv ISO 230-2:1997)
3 General Requirements
3.1 Unit
All the linear dimension of this part is expressed with (mm); the angular deviation is expressed with (″).
3.2 Reference Standard
GB/T 17421.1 may be referred to when using this part, especially the installation and the recommend accuracy of the testing method and tools of the heavy-duty rotary table.
3.3 Testing Sequence
The testing sequence specified in this part doesn't mean the real testing sequence. For the convenient of installing and dismantling the testing tools and of the testing, the testing may be carried out in any order.
3.4 Testing Items
According to the structural features, not all the items in this part shall be tested when the rotary table is tested. If the testing is required for the acceptance purpose, the testing items which interest the users may be selected after the consent of the manufacturer. These testing items must be proposed when the rotary table is ordered.
3.5 Testing Instruments
The testing instruments specified in this part are only the examples and the other testing instruments with identical indicatrix or at least the identical accuracy may be used. The indicator shall have 0.001mm or higher resolution ratio.
3.6 Minimum Tolerance
If the measured length is different from that specified in this part, the tolerance shall be converted into the length which is able to be measured according to the provisions in 2.3.1.1 of GB/T 17421.1-1998. If the conversion result is less than 0.005mm, it shall be subject to 0.005mm.
