This standard specifies the inspection rules and test methods for industrial robots.
This standard is applicable to industrial robots for various purposes.

3 Inspection rules
3.1 Inspection classification
Product inspections are classified into end-of-manufacturing inspection (acceptance inspection) and type inspection (routine inspection).
3.1.1 Products must be subjected to all inspections when delivered, which are called end-of-manufacturing inspection.
3.1.2 Comprehensive assessment is carried out in product quality and all inspections are conducted according to the technical requirements specified in the product standards, which is called type inspection.
Generally, in case of any of the following conditions, type inspection shall be carried out:
a) where trial manufacture and design appraisement acceptance of new products or old products produced by new plant is conducted;

3 Inspection rules
