1. Scope
This national standard specifies technical requirements, test methods and test rules for paint coating of cement machinery.
This Standard is applicable to paint coating and antirust of cement machinery, but those of other building material machinery may refer to this as well.
2. Normative references
The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this Standard. For dated reference, subsequent amendments (excluding content of corrigenda) to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, Parties to agreements based on this Standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards indicated below. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document referred to applies.
GB/T 1720 Method of Test for Adhesion of Paint Films
GB/T 1730 Determination of Hardness of the Paint Films--Pendulum Damping Test (neq ISO 1522)GB/T 1731 Determination of Flexibility of Films
GB/T 1732 Determination of Impact Resistance of Film
GB/T 1743 Method of Test for Gloss of Paint Films
GB/T 1764 Methods of Test for Measurement of Dry Film Thickness of Paints
GB/T 4879 Rustproof Packaging
GB/T 7231 Basic Identification Colors and Code Indications for Industrial Pipelines

GSB G51001 Color Standard for Paint Film
SSPC SP.1-SP.10 Specifications for Preservation Treatment of SSPC Steel Structure Surface
3. Terminologies and Definitions
The following terminologies and definitions are applicable to this Standard.
3.1
Paint
Solution of a sort of organic polymer colloid admixture, if it is painted on the material surface, it will be dry and hard, and then, form a layer of film.
3.2
Painting
The construction process of coating the oil paint on the material surface
3.3
Dilution
Liquid for dissolving and diluting oil paint, so as to achieve the application requirements
3.4
Base paint
Grounding oil paint directly painted on the material surface
3.5
Antirust paint
Paint prepared by antirust pigment and proper paint vehicle, with the purpose to prevent corrosion of atmospheric oxygen and moisture to the work piece surface
3.6
Surface paint
Oil paint coated on the most external surface of the material
3.7
Sag
A kind of phenomenon: painting on the vertical material surface, coating down-flow before dry and leave flowing trace after dry
3.8
Pinhole
A kind of phenomenon: during the dry and hard process, the paint film surface shows a sort of sunk bottom-showing pinpoint hole
3.9
Orange skin
A kind of phenomenon: due to the poor leveling of the paint film, the paint film surface forms corrugate a film like orange skin
4. Technical Requirement
4.1 Basic Requirements
4.1.1 At normal storage condition, the surface of the products after painting or anti-corrosive treatment shall not have corrosion mark in one year since the date of product leaving factory.
4.1.2 The painting antirust of the product shall comply with this Standard. The partial contents of the technological document and customer specific requirement for the products design shall comply with those for the products.
