1 Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for transmittance, opacity rate, resistance to cleaning agent, welding strength of electric insert, bending resistance of electric insert, power, defrosting efficiency, overvoltage resistance, hot spot temperature, electrothermal impact resistance, salt spray resistance, wear resistance of electric heating wire, moisture resistance, durability, impact resistance and fragment state of electric heating glass for automobile rear windshield, and is applicable to performance testing and design verification of various types of automobile electric heating glass.

ratio of the opaque area caused by electric heating wire to the area of the entire heating zone on the electric heating glass
3.2
heating zone
a closed surface formed by the topmost and the nethermost electric heating wires and one of the left and right bus bars respectively
3.3
electric insert
a metal sheet that is welded to the bus bar of the electric heating glass and connected to power supply
