Antiseptic function of antibacterial ceramic
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product marking, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of antibacterial ceramics.
This standard is applicable to the inspection and judgment of antiseptic function of building ceramic tiles and sanitary ceramic products with antiseptic function, and may serve as a reference to other ceramics.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
antibacterial
term describing the effects of suppressing the growth and reproduction of bacteria, yeast, mould and other microorganism and killing them
3.2
permanence of antibacterial
antiseptic function after repeated scrubbing tests that simulate the cleaning mode of the product in use
3.3
antibacterial ceramic
ceramic with a surface of antiseptic function
4 Product marking
Antibacterial ceramics are marked in the order of product name, standard number, antiseptic function symbol, antibacterial rate for antiseptic function and antibacterial rate for permanence of antibacterial.
Example: The antibacterial ceramic conforming to this standard is characterized by antibacterial rate for antiseptic function ≥ 90% and antibacterial rate for permanence of antibacterial ≥ 85%, and marked as:
