1 General
1.0.1 This specification is formulated with a view to implementing laws and regulations on national current safe production in the design and construction of disk lock steel tubular scaffold to ensure the security of construction personnel and achieve advanced technology, economy and rationality as well as safety and usability.
1.0.2 This specification is applicable to design, construction, acceptance and utilization of the erected formwork support and scaffold which are adopted with disk lock steel tubular scaffold in the constructions such as construction engineering and municipal engineering.
1.0.3 Where the height of the disk lock steel tubular double-pole scaffold is below 24m, it may be erected according to the structure requirements in this specification; design calculation for the foundation bearing capacity of the structural members and the standing tubes shall be carried out for the formwork support and the double-pole scaffold with height over 24m according to the requirements of this specification; and special construction plan shall be prepared according to the requirements of this specification.
1.0.4 The design, construction, acceptance and utilization of disk lock steel tubular scaffolds not only shall meet those specified in this specification, but also the requirements of current relevant national standards.

1 General
