Article 1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to achieving advanced technique, reasonable economy and safe application during the design and construction of high strength bolt connection in the steel structure work.
Article 1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the design, construction and acceptance of high and intermediate strength bolt connection in steel structure work of industrial and civilian construction.
Article 1.0.3 The design, construction and acceptance of high strength bolt connection shall be carried out according to the relevant provisions in "Specifications for the design of steel structures" (GBJ 17), "Technical specifications for cold shaped thin-walled steel section structures" (GBJ 18) and "Specification for Construction and Acceptance of Steel Structure work" in addition to this standard.
When the high strength bolt connection applied in specific environment (such as high temperatures or corrosive action) is designed, the requirements in the relevant current professional standard shall be also met.
Article 1.0.4 Joint of high strength bolt as adopted in this standard shall respectively be in accordance with those as specified in "High Strength Bolts with Large Hexagon Head for Steel Structures"(GB 1228), "Type and Dimension of High Strength Large Hexagon Nuts for Steel Structures"(GB 1229) , "Type and Dimension of High Strength Plain Washers for Steel Structures"(GB 1230) , "Specifications of High Strength Bolts with Large Hexagon Head, Large Hexagon Nuts, Plain Washers for Steel Structures"(GB 1231) or "Type and Dimension for Sets of Torshear Type High Strength Bolt Hexagon Nut and Plain Washer for Steel Structures"(GB 3632) and " Technical Requirement for Sets of Torshear Type High Strength Bolt Hexagon Nut and Plain Washer for Steel Structures"(GB 3633).
Article1.0.5 The performance rate, specification, connection type, pretension, antiskid coefficient on the friction surface as well as the post connection rust protection requirements shall be give clear indication of indicated in the design drawing and construction drawing. When two or more high strength bolts with the above diameters are adopted in the design, the bolt diameter for the antiskid coefficient test shall be additionally indicated.
Article1.0.6 When the high strength bolt is wrung and the member friction surface is handled and installed, the relevant requirements of national labor protection and safety technology shall be complied with.
