1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, size, code, material, requirements, test method, inspection rule, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of various automatic doors for building.
This standard is applicable to sliding automatic door (arc-shaped automatic door), slide hung automatic door, folding automatic door and revolving automatic door.
Other kinds of automatic door may refer to this standard. For the automatic door for special purpose, the relevant standards shall also be referred.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions as well as those specified in GB/T 5823 apply.
3.1 Automatic door
A generic term of doors equipped with components such as running device, induction device and door body and the automatic opening/closing entrance/exit of which are controlled by various signals.
3.2 Running device
The automatic opening/closing device composed of driver and controller.

This standard specifies the classification, size, code, material, requirements, test method, inspection rule, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of various automatic doors for building.
This standard is applicable to sliding automatic door (arc-shaped automatic door), slide hung automatic door, folding automatic door and revolving automatic door.
