3 Technical Requirements
3.1 General requirements
3.1.1 Before the franklinism powder spraying, the profile shall meet the requirements specified in GB 5237-93 and other relevant technical documents.
3.1.2 Before the franklinism powder spraying, the profile shall be carried out with surface pretreatment to clear off the oil stain and other impurities on its surface.
3.1.3 The profile shall be carried out with franklinism powder spraying within 24h after the surface pretreatment.
3.1.4 The thermosetting pure polyester powder coating or acrylic powder coating having high weather resistance shall be adopted.
3.2 Coating appearance
3.2.1 The coating appearance of profile shall be flat, smooth and clean.
3.2.2 Any one of the following conditions of the coating of profile is allowable defect:
a) Slight crocodile skin;
b) Indistinct color difference.
3.2.3 Any one of the following conditions of the coating of profile is disallowable defect:
a) Severe crocodile skin;
b) Obvious pinhole or shrinkage cavity;
c) Severe color difference;
d) The surface has insufficient coverage of coating or has scratch;
e) Bubble;
f) Partial shedding.
3.3 Coating color
The color of coating shall be basically consistent with the selected sample plate or color plate.
3.4 Coating thickness
The average value of the coating thickness for the finish shall not be less than 50μm, and that at the minimum point shall not be less than 40μm.
3.5 Coating hardness
The hardness of coating shall not be less than H.
3.6 Impact resistance of coating
The impact resistance of coating shall not be less than 3.0N•m.
3.7 Cross cut test of coating
The cross cut test of coating shall reach the Grade 0 given in the inspection result rating table in GB 9286-88.
3.8 Resistance to heat and humidity of coating
The resistance to heat and humidity of coating shall be Grade 1 among the ratings stated in GB 1740-79.
3.9 Resistance to mortar of coating
The phenomenon that the coating sheds off or the coating changes due to the influence of mortar or the removal of mortar shall not happen.
