1.0.1 Except for the provisions of this chapter, chapter 1, 2 and 3 of “Quality Inspection and Evaluation Standards for Highway Engineering” (Volume 1: Civil Engineering) is applicable to this volume.
1.0.2 This volume is applicable to mechanical and electrical works in the new, reconstructed and extended traffic engineering projects of expressways. The highway mechanical and electrical works of other highway projects can be implemented with reference to the provisions hereof.
1.0.3 The Inspection frequency of the sub-divisional work of mechanical and electrical engineering: construction organization: 100%; supervision organization: not lower than 30%. The complete inspection shall be performed if the quantity of measuring point is less than 3.
1.0.4 The weight value of the measured and inspected items in the sub-divisional work of the mechanical and electrical engineering is 1.
1.0.5 As for the mechanical and electrical projects evaluated according to this standard, they shall have true and basically complete quality assurance materials. The equipments, raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods shall all meet the requirements of the related standards, codes and contracts, and shall be equipped with the inspection certificates, quality certificates issued by the governmentally ratified inspection institutions.
