本标准规定了软木纸的适用范围、术语和定义、分类和标记、技术要求、检验规则、试验方法以及包装、标识、运输和储存等。
本标准适用于纯净软木粒与酚醛树脂胶、酚醛缩醛胶、改性环氧树脂胶、聚氨酯树脂胶等胶粘剂相混合,经搅拌、模压、固化成型,再进行平剖或旋剖而成的片状或卷状胶结软木纸。
本标准所定义的软木纸主要用于制作静密封垫片、建筑物变形缝填料、离合器摩擦片及公告板等。
