1 Scope
This standard specifies classification, requirements, test method, result calculation and judgment method, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the oriented strand board.
This standard is applicable to the oriented strand board with multi-layer structure which is made of wooden wafer with specified shape and thickness by oriented forming and pressing after sizing.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

oriented strand board (OSB)
the multi-layer structural board that is made from wooden wafer with specified shape and thickness by oriented forming and hot pressing after sizing and the shavings on the surface layer are arranged along the length or width direction of the board
3.2
dry condition
indoor atmosphere or protected outdoor atmosphere, which generally refers to the atmosphere of 20℃ in temperature, up to 65% in relative humidity or that with a relative humidity above 65% for only few weeks a year
