1.0.1 The specifications are formulated to be suitable for the construction development of civil airport in China, standardize technical requirements for investigation and surveying of airport and improve the surveying level of airport to make the surveying targeted, professional and systematic and ensure the investigation results are reliable and practical.
1.0.2 The specifications are applicable to investigation and surveying of airport serving civil aviation transportation and of civil part of civil and military airport at the state of new construction and renovation (extension) or used as reference for investigation and surveying of general airport and heliport.
1.0.3 As for terminal works, road works, drainage works, communication and navigation management works, aircraft maintenance works, fire protection works, fuel supply works, water supply and heat supply works, power and gas supply works, and buildings and public facilities serving as production assistance and administrative living facility and environmental protection, the geotechnical investigation shall comply with GB 50021 Code for Investigation of Geotechnical Engineering and CJJ 56 Code for Municipal Engineering Investigation and Surveying.
1.0.4 Engineering investigation and surveying of airport shall not only comply with those specified in the specifications but also meet the standards and codes stated in the current standards of the Nation as well as the current relevant standards and codes at the place where the airport is being constructed.
