1.1 This standard specifies the basic test methods for electric and electronic products used for communication, detection and control in coal mine.
1.2 This standard is applicable to:
a. Communication and signal systems and equipment in coal mine;
b. Monitoring, control and regulating systems, equipment and instruments for infrastructures, production process and environment in coal mine;
c. Measurement and control equipment and instruments for electromechanical equipment in coal mine.

General Technical Requirements of Electric and Electronic Products Used for Communication, Detection and Control in Coal Mine
3 General Requirements
3.1 For the assessment items specified in appraisal inspection, delivery inspection and type inspection of electric and electronic products used for communication, detection and control in coal mine, the test methods shall comply with the relevant requirements of this standard.
3.2 The standard concerned shall specify the adopted test methods, severity and test sequence (if concerned) according to product type and service environment conditions.
3.3 The standard concerned shall specify the requirements for performance index and other items concerned of test sample in the test process or after the test according to MT 209.
3.4 Provided that the conditions are infeasible for the complete machine test of large products, the standard concerned shall specify the critical components to be tested.
