1.0.1 This rule is the supplement and embodiment of thermodynamical instrument and control parts in the "Technical Specification for Design of Thermal Power Plants". 1.0.2 The thermal power automation design of fossil fuel power plant (hereinafter referred to as power plant) shall be conducted according to the middle applicable aquatic products and the requirements of guaranteeing the unit security and economical operation, and the advanced technology at home and abroad shall be promoted actively and cautiously step by step. 1.0.3 The rule is applicable to the new or expanding condensing power plant with capacity of 50~600MW and the thermal power automation design of thermal power plant with high-pressure-high-temperature heat-supply. 1.0.4 In case of the phased construction of power plant, the control mode, equipment type, and the relevant facilities such as thermal-control testing laboratory shall be surveyed and arranged reasonably. 1.0.5 The thermal power automation design of power plant shall adopt actively the prescribed standard design, typical design and general design. 1.0.6 The thermal power automation design of power plant shall adopt equipments with high reliability and mature control techniques. The new products and new techniques shall be adopted in the design after the accreditation in probation and test. In case of appropriate conditions, the products of standard series shall be preferred. 1.0.7 The thermal power automation design of power plant shall be conducted according to unit capacity, monitoring requirements of process system, equipment controllability and implementation information. 1.0.8 In the power plant design, not only the requirements stipulated in this rule, but also those in the relevant standards of the nation, professional standards and relevant regulations of specification and discipline shall be complied with.
