Leather glove
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of leather glove.
This standard is applicable to leather glove (including mitt) made of natural leather.
This standard is also applicable to glove made of materials such as artificial leather and synthetic leather, as well as glove mainly made of natural leather, artificial leather and synthetic leather, and supplemented by textiles.
This standard is not applicable to glove for special purposes and requirements.

3 Classification
3.1 Classification by purpose and style:
——men’s;
——women’s.
3.2 Classification by processing method:
——machine sewing;
——hand sewing.
4 Requirements
4.1 Size
The size is selected according to the requirements of QB/T 1583 and its indication shall meet the requirements of QB/T 1583.
4.2 Specification
The specification is self-designed according to the relevant requirements of QB/T 1583, the common specifications and dimensions are shown in Annex A, and the permissible deviation of specification shall meet the requirements of Table 1.

4.3 Limits of harmful substances
The limit of harmful substances in leather and textiles shall meet the requirements of Table 2.

4.4 Shell fabric
4.4.1 Leather
It is selected according to the requirements of QB/T 2704.
4.4.1.1 Leather surface
The glossy leather is smooth on surface, consistent in fineness and free from disfigurement, broken face, cracking and decoating; the suede leather has uniform fluff. Minor disfigurements, such as scattered small knots and small rough spots are permissible at unobvious places. The color is basically uniform and no decolonization occurs.
4.4.1.2 Leather body
The leather body is soft, full and elastic, with comfortable feel.
4.4.1.3 Leather lining
The leather lining is free from greasy sense; the inner incised wound, if any, shall not exceed half of the thickness and shall be glued.
4.4.1.4 Cut
The color of cut is basically the same as that of surface.
4.4.2 Artificial/Synthetic leather
It is selected according to the relevant standards, and shall free from obvious marks, unevenness and knots.
4.4.3 Textile material
It is selected according to the relevant standards, and shall free from reel-off and skipped yarn.
4.5 Accessory materials
4.5.1 Lining materials
The length, width and elasticity of lining materials are compatible with those of shell fabric. They are comfortable to wear and free from holes and tears. The five fingers of lining are sewn together with those of shell fabric, and the whole lining is free from wrinkles. The fur lining is soft and free from severe fur slipping, discoloration and peculiar smell; the seam is spliced flatly and smoothly.
4.5.2 Zipper
It is free from misalignment and teeth falling, and is smooth in zipping.
4.5.3 Buttons and other accessories
They are firmly fitted, flexible in use and free from burr and rust. The fitting position on the same pair of gloves is coordinated and consistent.
4.5.4 Identification
The appearance is clear and tidy, and the binding is flat, smooth and firm.
4.6 Sewing requirements
4.6.1 Sewing appearance
The stitch length is uniform and tidy, the bottom and upper threads are appropriate in tightness, and the back stitches are in the original pinhole without secondary stitches.
