QB/T 1745 consists of two parts under the general title Fountain pen inks:
——Part 1: Non-pigment inks;
——Part 2: Carbonic inks.
This part is Part 2 of QB/T 1745.
This part is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part is a revision of QB/T 2063-2007 Carbonic ink.
In addition to a number of editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to QB/T 2063-2007:
——The standard name is modified;
——The product classification is modified (see Clause 3; Clause 3 of Edition 2007);
——The name of light fastness is modified (see 4.1 and 6.3; 4.1 and 5.3 of Edition 2007);
——The requirements and test method for scuff resistance are added (see 4.1 and 6.4);
——The test method for bleaching resistance is modified (see 6.8; 5.7 of Edition 2007);
——The test method for stability is modified (see 6.9; 5.8 of Edition 2007);
——The requirements and test method for the migration element content are added (see 4.3 and 6.17);
——The environmental conditions are added (see Clause 5);
——The requirements for shelf life are deleted (see 7.4.2 of Edition 2007).

This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Writing Instrument of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 378).

Fountain pen inks - Part 2: Carbonic inks
1 Scope
This part specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage of carbonic inks.
This part is applicable to carbonic inks (hereinafter referred to as "inks") used for fountain pens and dip pens for document writing.

3 Classification
Inks are classified into high-quality inks and normal inks based on their properties.
4 Requirements
4.1 The physical and chemical properties of inks shall meet those specified in Table 1.
