1 Scope
This part of QB/T 1901 specifies general requirements concerning gold alloy coverings.
It is applicable to watch-cases and their accessories, including bracelets when they are permanently attached to the case.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this part, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1 gold-plated covering
gold alloy covering achieved with a method by which a layer of gold alloy is applied to the component by an electrolytic, chemical or other process
3.2 rolled-gold covering
gold alloy covering achieved with a method by which a layer of gold alloy is bonded to a sheet or a bar of base metal, the whole then being subjected to reduction by rolling
