Enameled bathtub
1 Scope
This standard specifies product classification and designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of enameled bathtub.
This standard is applicable to enameled cast iron bathtubs and enameled formed steel bathtubs.

3 Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the definitions given in GB/T 7410 and the followings apply. See Figure 1.
3.1 top edge
uppermost flat part of a bathtub
3.2 apron board
a part of bathtub that is specially arranged to cover the underside of bathtub, which begins to sag from the top edge
3.3 drain outlet
a hole for draining water from bathtub
3.4 overflow
a water outlet arranged at the top of the inside of a bathtub to prevent overflow from the top edge
3.5 visible surface
the surface, after installation, is visible to eye
3.6 invisible surface
the surface, after installation, is not visible to eye
3.7 bottom surface
visible surface at the bathtub bottom
3.8 insulating layer
a layer of insulation over the invisible surface of bathtub
3.9 inspection window
a ring, with an inner diameter of 76 mm and made of a flexible material (such as paper or rubber sheet), to facilitate the determination of the number of defects within a specified area in the appearance test. The ring can also determine the scope of inspection on irregular surfaces.
