Casual Shoes
1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, pictorial markings for packaging and handling, packaging, transportation and storage for casual shoes.
This standard is applicable to adult casual shoes for routine uses. This standard is not applicable to women's shoes with a heel height greater than 20.0 mm and heel size greater than 8.0 mm, and men's shoes with a heel height greater than 25.0 mm and heel mouth greater than 10.0 mm as well as children casual shoes

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2703 and the following apply.
3.1

footwear for daily life or recreational activities. For women's shoes, the heel height is not more than 20.0mm and the heel mouth is not more than 8.0mm, while, for men's shoes, the heel height is not more than 25.0mm and the heel mouth is not more than 10.0mm.

4 Classification
Casual shoes shall be divided into man and woman casual shoes by user
According to upper materials, it is divided into leather, artificial leather, synthetic leather, fabric and other materials.
5 Requirements
5.1 General requirements
5.1.1 Shoe size shall meet the requirements of GB/T 3293.1.
5.1.2 Shoe last size should meet the requirements of GB/T 3293
Note: The company shall apply GB/T 3293 reasonably. If not, it shall not expressly declare conformity with this standard. In general, quality inspection bodies do not assume responsibility for identifying such conformity.
5.1.3 Shoe materials shall meet corresponding requirements of product standard.
5.1.4 Labeling shall meet the requirements of QB/T 2673.
5.1.5 No defect that influence wearing shall exist.
5.2 Sensory quality
Sensory quality shall be in accordance with those specified in Table1. Where, items 1 to 4 are primary, and items 5 to 10 are subsidiary.

1 Overall appearance The entire shoe shall be straight, flat, symmetrical, with no visible defects and color differences; the inner pad shall be flat; the inside and outside of the shoe should be clean; the bottom (bottom wall) joint shall be free from glue deficiency and failure.
2 Upper Leather, artificial leather, and synthetic leather upper: The color, thickness, length, and pattern of the corresponding parts of the same pair of shoes shall be basically the same (except for the special style design). No crazing and crack grain (except for casual shoes such as cracked leather, etc.), and no coating shedding, no decolorization, no exposed toe and white frost, no damage. Primary parts shall be free from obvious looseness.
Textile uppers: The color and pattern of the corresponding parts of the same pair of shoes are basically the same (except for special design styles); there should be no turbulent yarn, skipping yarn and obvious stains; the subsidiary parts are allowed to have two areas of defect ≤ 10mm2;
Other materials shall be treated like leather or textiles
3 Counter and toe puff Be correct, flat, fit and smooth, symmetrical and in place, and shall not shrink and deform.
4 Seaming Regular and tight
5 Flanging top line Basically neat, uniform, sleek, without clipping or cracking
6 Stitching, sewing Stitching: lines shall run neatly, and needle codes shall uniform; the bottom line shall be uniform in tightness; the primary part shall not have jumper, double stitch (except for back stitching intended by process design), broken stitches, turning stitches, split stitches and suture line derailment, etc. The subsidiary part for each shoe is allowed to have jumper and double stitch, which shall not exceed 2 for each shoe;
Sewing: The stitches shall be neat, and the needle code shall be uniform. There shall be no missing stitches, broken stitches, or chaotic stitches.
7 Outer soles The color and pattern of the corresponding parts of the outer soles of the same pair of shoes shall be basically the same (except for the special style design). Slight defects are allowed.
8 Thickness of the sole The thickness of half sole stressing against the ground shall not be less than 3.0mm except the thickness of pattern.
9 Accessories Accessories shall be firmly assembled, basically symmetric, uniform in colors, and free of significant sensory defects.
10 Dimensions of upper b The toe lasting length difference between the shoes of the same pair shall be ≤ 2.5mm. The counter lasting height difference between the shoes of the same pair shall be ≤ 2.5mm. The counter lasting height difference between the boots of the same pair shall be ≤ 3.5 mm.
11 Dimensions of sole c The length difference between the soles of the same pair shall be ≤3.0 mm, the width difference shall be ≤2.0 mm, and thickness difference shall be ≤1.0mm
a The sensory quality defects not listed in Table 1 shall be treated according to similar items in Table1.
b If the toe lasting length difference between the shoes of the same pair exceeds 4.0 mm, or the counter lasting height difference between the shoes of the same pair exceeds 4.0 mm, or the counter lasting height difference between the boots of the same pair exceeds 5.0 mm, it is considered a serious defect.
c If the length difference between the outsoles of the same pair exceeds 4.0 mm, or the width difference exceeds 3.0 mm, it is considered a serious defect.
5.3 Odor
The grade of odor shall not be greater than 3.
5.4 Physical and mechanical properties
5.4.1 Bending resistance
5.4.1.1 If the thickness at sole flexing position (including pattern) is greater than 25mm, bending resistance test can be obviated.
Note: The thickness at sole flexing position includes the thickness of the inner pad, but not including the thickness of the bottom higher than the inner pad.
5.4.1.2 After testing according to 6.4, the length of the cut shall not exceed 20.0 mm. After folding, new cracks shall not exceed 3 and the length of a single crack shall not exceed 5.0 mm. At the same time, there shall be no crazing and cracking in upper, or glue failure in bottom and sole shall not be longer than 5.0mm. The sole shall be free of peeling off. There shall be no cracks along the binding. No signs of leaking and collapse shall exist in air (liquid) pads.
5.4.2 Abrasion resistance of outsole
5.4.2.1 Abrasion resistance test is obviated for natural leather outsole.
5.4.2.2 The abrading length shall not be greater than 14.0 mm.
5.4.3 Peeling strength
5.4.3.1 Casual shoes made through sewing, stitching, gluing and special processes (including riveting, etc.) do not have peeling strength test.
5.4.3.2 Peeling strength shall not be less than 40 N/cm. If the material tears and the peeled layer is not separated, the peeling strength shall not be less than 30 N/cm.
5.4.4 Upper pull-out strength
5.4.4.1 Casual shoes made through sewing, stitching, gluing and special processes (including riveting, etc.) do not have upper pull-out strength test.
5.4.4.2 Shoes with peel strength undetectable shall measure the upper pull-out strength.
5.4.4.3 The pull-out strength of upper shall not be less than 70 N/cm. If the material tears and the joint is not separated, the pull-out strength of upper shall not be less than 30 N/cm.
