Precious metal alloy coatings jewellery - General technical requirements of plating 1 Scope This standard specifies the terms, definition, types, requirements and test methods of plating for precious metal alloy (e.g. gold, silver and rhodium) coatings jewellery. This standard is applicable to the palting of precious metal (gold, silver, rhodium, etc.) coatings jewellery made of tin alloy, zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, copper alloy and other metals as base materials. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
