1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of hydrogenated starch hydrolysate.
This standard is applicable to hydrogenated starch hydrolysate made of starch enzymolysed or hysrolyzed into syrup with dilute acid or directly made of syrup after hydrogenation and separation.

The mixture composed of maltitol, sorbitol and a small amount of oligosaccharide alcohol and polysaccharide alcohol, also called liquid multiple sugar alcohol.
