1 Scope
This standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, test methods and inspection rules of electric hairdryers.
This standard is applicable to handheld electric hairdryers with electric heating elements at a rated input power of 2.2kW or below and combined marcel wavers with non-electrical working heads based on electric hairdryers.
It does not apply to electric hairdryers for children and special purposes.

This standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, test methods and inspection rules of electric hairdryers.
This standard is applicable to handheld electric hairdryers with electric heating elements at a rated input power of 2.2kW or below and combined marcel wavers with non-electrical working heads based on electric hairdryers.
It does not apply to electric hairdryers for children and special purposes.
