本标准规定了铁道客车用独立温水采暖锅炉的主要技术参数，一般技术要求、零部件及材料技术要求、电气性能要求、组装技术要求和检验规则。
本标准适用于铁道客车用新造独立燃煤温水采暖锅沪和独立煤电两用温水采暖锅炉。铁道客车用新造独立燃油温水采暖锅炉也可参照使用。
