3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 3730.1, GB 13094, and GB/T 15089, as well as the following, apply to this document.
3.1 Passenger Door Emergency Control System
A system that, in emergency situations, enables the manual or automatic opening of passenger doors by operating the passenger door emergency control device, regardless of whether there is power supply to the power-controlled passenger door.
Note: The passenger door emergency control system includes the passenger door emergency control device, operating linkage components, operation identification, etc., but excludes components that perform the normal opening and closing functions of the passenger door. Based on the operating principle, it can be divided into pneumatic passenger door emergency control systems (see Figure 1) and mechanical passenger door emergency control systems (see Figure 2).
3.2 Passenger Door Emergency Control Device
An operating device used to actuate the passenger door emergency control system to achieve the emergency door opening function.
Note: Classified by installation location, they are divided into external passenger door emergency control devices, internal passenger door emergency control devices, and driver's area passenger door emergency control devices. Classified by operating mechanism, they are divided into pull-out type, push-button type, and rotary type passenger door emergency control devices.
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 General Requirements
4.1.1 The rated operating air pressure for pneumatic passenger door emergency control systems is 0.8 MPa, with an operating air pressure range of 0.4 MPa to 1.2 MPa.
4.1.2 The passenger door emergency control device shall operate normally under environmental temperatures from -40°C to 80°C and relative humidity not exceeding 95%.
4.1.3 The surfaces of components of the passenger door emergency control device shall be smooth and even, without obvious scratches, dents, or other defects affecting the product's appearance and performance.
4.1.4 The wiring for electrical components shall comply with the provisions of QC/T 29106, with a temperature resistance of not less than 105°C. All wires shall be bundled neatly, arranged orderly, securely fastened, connected reliably, and fitted with insulating sleeves at connection points.
4.1.5 The content of prohibited and restricted substances in the passenger door emergency control device shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 30512.
4.1.6 The passenger door emergency control device shall be equipped with a protection device against accidental operation (such as a protective cover, etc.) or possess a false operation alarm function, except for driver's area passenger door emergency control devices.
4.1.7 The protection device against accidental operation shall be easy to open, and once opened, it shall facilitate emergency operation.
4.1.8 If a protective cover is present, the cover opening/closing button shall operate smoothly, lock securely, and the protective cover shall not pop open by itself during vehicle travel.
4.1.9 When opening the protection device against accidental operation or operating the passenger door emergency control device, an audible or visual alarm signal shall be provided to the driver, except for driver's area passenger door emergency control devices.
4.2 Performance Requirements for Passenger Door Emergency Control System
4.2.1 Opening Time Requirement for Passenger Door Emergency Control System
When tested according to 6.2.1, after operating the passenger door emergency control device, the passenger door shall be capable of opening automatically or manually to a width that allows the passage of the passenger door access gauge specified in GB 13094 within 8 seconds.
4.2.2 Inhibition Function Requirement
When the vehicle is operating normally at a speed greater than 3 km/h, the internal passenger door emergency control device shall be in an inhibited state to prevent accidental opening due to misoperation or other reasons. When the vehicle is stationary or traveling at a speed less than or equal to 3 km/h, the internal passenger door emergency control device shall automatically resume its normal function. For electrically powered passenger doors that use mechanical structures for door locking, they are considered to have the inhibition function.
4.2.3 Emergency Reset Protection Function Requirement
4.2.3.1 For pneumatic passenger door emergency control systems applied to inward-swinging doors or folding doors, resetting after use shall ensure that the door does not perform a closing action. If a closing action occurs, the closing time shall be greater than or equal to 5 seconds.
4.2.3.2 For pneumatic passenger door emergency control systems applied to outward-swinging doors, resetting after use shall ensure that the door does not perform a closing action. If a closing action occurs, the closing time shall be greater than or equal to 3 seconds.
