1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of motor vehicles-window regulators.
This standard is applicable to window regulators used in motor vehicles, in the form of gear arm type, sheave type, and soft shaft type.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
window regulator (hereinafter referred to as regulator)
device that raises or lowers the motor vehicle window along the window-oriented groove by a certain driving method and can stay at any position as required.
3.2
window oriented groove (hereinafter referred to as oriented groove)
component that guides the window when it moves up and down.
3.3
movement parallelity
distance difference between the two end points of the line (100mm long) and the corresponding end points before the movement when moving to a certain position, which is parallel to the OZ reference plane of the motor vehicle coordinate system on the window.
3.4
effective travel
part in the limit stroke of the regulator after subtracting 20mm from the upper and lower ends.
