1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of vehicle air conditioner (HFC-134a) receiver dryer (hereinafter referred to as receiver dryer).
This standard is applicable to the vehicle air conditioner receiver dryer with HFC-134a as refrigerant, operating pressure of 0~2.5MPa and useful volume of less than 1,000mL.
2 Normative references
The following standards contain provision which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. Upon publication of this standard, all the editions cited are valid. All standards are subject to revision, and all parties using this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the latest editions of the following standards.
GB/T 191-2008 Packaging - Pictorial marking for handling of goods
GB/T 6287-1986 Determination of static adsorbed water for molecular sieve
GB/T 10125-1997 Corrosion tests in artificial atmospheres - Salt spray tests
3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
receiver dryer
a device with drying and filtering functions, which is used for adsorbing residual moisture content in the refrigeration system, filtering residual impurities and storing high-pressure liquid refrigerant
3.2
desiccant
solid adsorbent used for adsorbing residual moisture content, which shall be compatible with refrigerant and refrigerator oil in refrigeration cycle
3.3
pressure drop
difference between pressure values of the refrigerant when flowing through the inlet and outlet of the receiver dryer respectively
3.4
water capacity
ratio of the maximum mass of desiccant after water absorption in wet air or refrigerant to the mass of desiccant before water absorption
3.5
residual moisture
ratio of the mass of residual moisture content in the desiccant to the mass of the desiccant
3.6
useful volume
effective space for storing refrigerant
4 Technical requirements
The receiver dryer shall meet the requirements of this standard and shall be manufactured according to product drawings and technical documents approved via specified procedures.
