1 Subject content and application scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of satellite tracking and orbit satellite-borne system (hereafter referred to as “tracking system”).

3 Technical requirements
3.1 General requirements
3.1.1 Appearance and structure
The external plating, thermal control coating, color, mark and electrical connector of tracking system equipment (hereinafter referred to as "equipment") must meet the requirements of special technical specifications. The external surface is free from scratches, nicks, cracks, pollution and other mechanical damage.
Overall dimension, installation dimension and mass of equipment shall meet the requirements of special technical specifications.
3.1.2 Electronic components
3.1.2.1 The electronic components adopted shall be selected according to special technical specifications, and strictly screened according to QJ 786~QJ 789 and relevant special technical specifications.
3.1.2.2 The technical requirements for electronic connectors shall comply with QJ 1903 and be tested according to QJ 1508.
3.1.2.3 The derating of electronic components shall comply with QJ 1417.
3.1.3 Manufacturing process
3.1.3.1 The manufacturing and mechanical assembly of various parts shall comply with QJ 548.
3.1.3.2 The electrical installation shall comply with QJ 165.
3.1.3.3 In the process of manufacturing and assembling, the superfluous objects shall be strictly controlled according to the requirements of QJ 931.
3.1.4 Environmental adaptability
3.1.4.1 The environmental adaptability of tracking system is the same as that of the complete satellite.
3.1.4.2 The environmental adaptability test of equipment is classified into environment test during appraisal inspection and environment test during delivery inspection. See Table 1 for environment test items and requirements during appraisal inspection, and Table 2 for those during delivery inspection.

3.3.2.1 Modulation characteristics
3.3.2.1.1 The selection of frequency and number of ranging sidetone signals shall meet those specified in Table 3.
3.3.2.1.2 The ranging sidetone signals shall be phase coherent.
3.3.2.1.3 The uplink modulation index shall meet the requirements of the ratio of signal power to noise power spectral density at the receiver input threshold of the transponder, and the downlink modulation index shall meet the requirements of the ratio of residual carrier signal power to noise power spectral density at the earth station and the requirements of power flux density limit. a. SHF frequency band: the total frequency modulation index of uplink signal to carrier is not greater than 14.4, and the total phase modulation index of downlink signal to carrier is 0.1~1.0rad;
