1 Subject content and application scope
This standard specifies the basic principle, test system composition, test procedures, data processing methods and uncertainty requirements for the measurement of nozzle deflection angle of solid rocket motor (hereinafter referred to as the "motor") static firing tests.
This standard is applicable to the deflection angle measurement of the uniaxial swing of the nozzle and the triaxial swing of the bead support nozzle in the motor static firing test.

nozzle zero status
initial position of nozzle when nozzle axis is parallel or coincident with motor axis
3.2
deflection angle (δ)
included angle between nozzle axis and nozzle zero status axis at a certain moment
3.3
additional deflection angle (δf)
deflection angle caused by deformation of the working motor under the condition that the nozzle movable body is connected with the motor fixed body through the servo mechanism
3.4
preset angle
angle with the same magnitude opposite to the additional deflection angle preset before the test, in order to counteract the effect of additional deflection angle on thrust vector
