1.0.1 The design of circulating water plants for petrochemical enterprises shall comply with the requirements of the process equipments and other users on the volume, quality, temperature, and pressure of cooling water, ensure the stabile safe operation of waterside of heat-exchange equipments with long-time cycle, and also be in accordance with the requirements on such factors as environment protection, energy conservation, water conservation, optimal land utilization, and medicament conservation.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design of newly-built circulating water plants for petrochemical enterprises. Extension and renovation may also refer to this code.
1.0.3 In the implementation of this code the requirements stipulated in relevant current specifications also shall be complied with.
