1.1 General Requirements
1.1.1 Hoisting scheme and technical safety measures shall be prepared for hoisting of large and middle scale equipment and components, and they may be implemented upon being approved by the related technology and safety directors. The scheme shall not be altered during the implementation without the competent personnel's permission.
1.1.2 Technical disclosure must be taken out before hoisting task, and all operating personnel must know intimately hoisting scheme, demand sign, safety and technical requirements, and hoisting machinery operation procedure.
1.1.3 Before hoisting, the power supply department shall be contacted so as to ensure normal power supply.
1.1.4 Before hoisting, the meteorological department shall be contacted to investigate meteorology change; in case it is rainy or snowy weather or air speed is higher than 10.8 m/s (for the wind scale, see Appendix A), hoisting shall be not be taken out. Where the environment temperature is lower than - 20℃ during hoisting, hoisting machinery, rigging and hoisted equipment and component shall have appropriate low-temperature resistance.
1.1.5 Before hoisting large and middle scale equipment, overall check shall be performed for machines and tools according to the hoisting scheme; after confirming the hoisting scheme, the commander in chief will sign "Hoisting Order" and then trial hoisting and normal hoisting may be carried out.
1.1.6 For vertical equipment, the hoisting point shall be on or above gravity center of the heavy object; if bond below the gravity center, effective safety measures must be taken and approved by the related technical director.
1.1.7 Firm tag line shall be attached on the heavy object before hoisting so as to prevent swinging and rotating during the hoisting process.
1.1.8 The hoisted object should not be kept overhead for too long time; or reliable safety measures must be taken.
1.1.9 When wind rope or tag line spans a road, the height to the road surface shall not be lower than 6m, and clear sign or warning board shall be hung up.
1.1.10 During the hoisting process, the operating personnel shall stand fast at their posts, observe instructions and report to the commander in case of any problem; no manipulation shall be performed without the commander’s command.
1.1.11 After vertical equipment is hoisted in position, initial alignment shall be taken out immediately; cape and hook may be loosened only when anchor bolts are tightened up.
1.1.12 Hoisting demand sign shall comply with the requirements of "the Commanding Signal for Lifting and Moving" (JGJ 33).
1.1.13 Hoisting operation shall meet the requirements of "Code for Hoisting Work in Chemical Construction" (HGJ 201) and "Construction standard for Large-size Equipment Hoisting Engineering" (SHJ 515), besides meeting the Code.
