1 Subject Content and Application Scope
This standard specifies specific method to determine wear characteristic of petroleum hydraulic fluids in a high pressure constant volume vane pump.
This standard is applicable to determination of wear characteristic of petroleum hydraulic fluids.
2 Normative References
GB 1922 Solvent Naphthas
GB 3405 Petroleum Benzene
3 Summary of Test Method
11.4L of sample is cycled for 100h through the rotating vane pump and the operation condition is: 13720kPa±274.4kPa 1200r/min±60r/min; when the sample viscosity is 50.6mm2/s or lower than 50.6mm2/s at 40℃, the test temperature is 65.6℃±3℃; when the viscosity is larger than 50.6mm2s, the test temperature is 79.5℃±3℃. The total abrasion loss (mass loss millligram numbers of stator and the vane) of the pump is used as the test result. The total amount of the sample for a single test is 20L.
